Carlos Santa Ana's farm is located in the territory of Nahuaterique near Honduras' southern border with El Salvador. This territory was formerly disputed between both countries but after an agreement in 1998 granting the inhabitants of the village of Nahuaterique dual citizenship, the territory remains within Honduran borders, despite many of its inhabitants identifying as Salvadoreans. The region has been recognized for its quality potential and high altitudes. Some of COMSA's highest elevation farms are located here.

Unfortunately, because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting closure of the Honduran-Salvadorean border, Mr. Santa Ana was unable to return to his farm after a visit in El Salvador. We were ultimately unable to obtain much more information or pictures of Mr. Santa Ana.
