Bongo Java Roasting Co.

Bongo Java Roasting Co. began as Nashville's first coffee house, Bongo Java. (In 1996, we received world-wide media attention with the discovery of the NunBun, an ordinary cinnamon bun that looks like Mother Teresa.) Since then, we've grown to include seven cafes and two wholesale businesses and are an integral part of Nashville's thriving coffee community.

Bongo Java believes in an expanded definition of quality that not only includes how stuff tastes, but also how it is purchased and produced. Thus, all of our coffee is organic and purchased from small-scale farmers at above Fair Trade prices.
